To prevent hydrate formation is a key issue within the oil and gas industry as formation of hydrates can lead to huge technical and operational problems and consequently have significant negative economic impact for the operations.
Kjartan holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has several years of experience from a range of operational and managerial positions at Roxar. From 2008 until 2014 he was CEO of Inwind AS, an offshore windpower installation and maintenance contractor.
Malcolm Andrew Kelland
Malcolm studied chemistry at Oxford University from 1983 to 1990 and was awarded a DPhil in Organometallic chemistry. From 1991 to 2000 he worked at RF-Rogaland Research (now IRIS), a Norwegian research institute located in Stavanger (established 1973). Since 2000 he has worked at the University of Stavanger.
